A patient suffering with white coat syndrome from Aylesbury and Chiltern CCG has described their use of Flo in managing their hypertension to BBC Oxfordshire.
The interview describes the mechanics and methodology of how and why Cathy sends her blood pressure reading twice a day to Flo in support of the management of her hypertension and the resulting impact that this has made for her.
Cathy finds Flo reassuring and also describes the opportunity that her GP now has to use accurate and timely data to manage her blood pressure, avoiding the requirement to have multiple readings taken by her GP in an attempt to avoid the impact that her white coat syndrome typically had.
Cathy describes that she feels she is now taking responsibility for her own health and the benefits that using Flo has given to her, an interview with Cathy has also been aired on television by BBC Oxford.
